Dear Students,
 
The 4th International Congress of Basic Science (ICBS) is just around the corner, and we are currently seeking students to participate in this international event in Beijing as 6-week interns.
 
Programme Background
Organized by the Beijing Municipal People's Government and the International Consortium of Chinese Mathematicians (ICCM), the 4th International Congress of Basic Science (ICBS) serves as an academic conference for scholarly discussions and exchanges in three key areas: mathematics, physics, and information science and engineering.

The previous three conferences attracted over 3,000 distinguished scholars from both China and abroad, including more than 10 Fields Medal winners, 9 Turing Award winners, 5 Nobel Prize winners, and hundreds of academicians from various nations.

Programme Details
Internship Period: 12 July – 21 August 2026 (6 Weeks)
Location: Beijing Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Applications, Beijing
Eligibility: All CPCE students are welcome to apply
